"On a Thursday one of our customers called and needed our help.  They had a 990K pit loader that was having major bucket issues and needed 3 adapters cut out and welded on so they could run on Monday.  Keep in mind each adapter normally takes about 8 hours and is hard work!  Our Austell field service team came to the rescue.  Carl Sponsel worked on a plan w/ Will Martin and Lee Tackett and the 2 of them went to the customer's site in one truck and knocked out all 3 adapters and had the customer up running.  Both myself and the customer are extremely appreciative of their hard work!"

Late one Friday night, I received a phone call from one of my customers who had an emergency deal for a  boom lift early the next morning. Kevin Reid who runs dispatch in Austell was the only person I had to call. Within minutes, he communicated he would make sure the boom lift was on site the following morning. Conner Gates sourced the equipment that Friday evening and Nick Williams wrote the rental agreement early Saturday morning. Paul Dunbar delivered the unit to the customer Saturday morning fulfilling Kevin's promise. The Austell team is always available to help customers and fellow employees even when it's after hours. The customer wrote the following email in regards to Yancey Rents:

"After receiving a call from a local college way after hours this past Friday night regarding them needing some stadium lights replaced before their 1st home game, your team jumped in to action and had the equipment on site for us the next morning. "When you talk about a team coming together to overcome a difficult situation, you can include the guys from the Rental Store (Chris Moore, Nick Burgess, Daniel Lacobucci) and the Parts Warehouse (Paul Inglett and Dustin Long) in Augusta.  I received a call at 4:59am that the main office and showroom area of the facility had been flooded by a water leak.  I arrived a little after 5:30 to find Dustin, who had already gone over the incoming parts freight to determine what needed to be pulled for our external customers, the Augusta shop, and field service, doing his best to clean up the water.  Shortly after 6am the guys from rental began to show up and all grabbed mops, brooms, and a squeegee and began to help us clear out the water before our customers began showing up at 7am.  Without their help, the customers would have been walking through puddles of water to pick up their parts.  The clean-up could not have been achieved in a timely fashion without this group of dedicated employees."

"The SOS laboratory recently upgraded and installed a new instrument.  The Particle Sizing System is integrated with the ICP emissions spectrometer.  Vendor engineers spent 2.5 days installing and setting up the PSS and new auto-sampler.  Naturally samples keep coming in daily and luck would have it the install occurred during our peak sample volume period, so we quickly got behind.  Both internal and external customers need test results back quickly especially if there are any abnormal conditions detected.  Dennis always a reliable team player volunteered to stay late for the following two weeks working in the lab helping sample work flows, instrument operation and get reports interpreted out to customers.  His actions allowed the lab to return to normal turnaround times within a shorter period of time."

"We had a unique issue recently with one of our customers who called late one Friday afternoon notifying us that he had received a box that contained the wrong part. I reached out to the customer informing him that we did have another one and that I would make sure we took care of this issue. While the customer and I were forming a plan on resolving the delivery of the new pump, Dakota Hayes volunteered to take the item to Lyons Ga right after work. I asked the customer if he could wait until the morning since Dakota would not reach Lyons until 8 or 9 PM due to traffic on I16.  The customer set the time for 9AM on Saturday morning; on his day off, Dakota was at the meeting spot 20 minutes early with the pump, a hat, and coffee cup to take of our customer and apologize for the inconvenience. I would like to nominate Dakota Haynes for his service, spirit, steadfast commitment to customer service. I believe not only was the customer happy with our team's response to the issue but also the method and communication to ensure the customer needs are the most of importance to Yancey Brothers and it's Team. Dakota is a good example of what a parts team member should strive for and exudes customer appreciation and customer satisfaction."
